Spring Board has created this statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the Spring Board web site.

IP ADDRESS AND COOKIES

We use your IP address to help diagnose technical problems and to administer our web site. Our site also uses cookies to help us recognize returning customers and better administrate the repeat functionality of our web site. Web pages may in the future contain electronic images known as Web beacons (sometimes called clear giffs or Web bugs) or other advanced technologies that are useful in the provision of services to you. We may use such devices to verify compliance with our terms and conditions of use or with any promotions on the site.

INFORMATION COLLECTION

We collect your e-mail address prior to your use of our web site to solicit a transportation quote. This e-mail address will be matched to information you input, such as origin and destination information, weight, dimensions, etc.

During the registration process, Spring Board requires users to give us contact information via a customer registration form. We then use a customer's email address to send out customer access information. The customer's contact information is also used for account purposes such as address verification and confirmation of shipments tendered with Spring Board. We also contact customers for the purposes of notifying them of service updates and explanation of services.

During the shipment administration process, Spring Board requests shipment information from the user in order to process their shipment. This information includes shipping and receiving addresses, product descriptions and the date and time of the shipment; as well as any other pertinent information needed for shipment processing. Spring Board utilizes this information to generate an electronic pickup with a freight carrier and to forward the necessary shipping documents to the shipping or receiving parties. All of this information is required in order to correctly process a shipment request.

INFORMATION SHARING AND ACCESS

Contracted agents enroll new users by submitting account information to Spring Board such as: company name, address and email address. Spring Board uses this information to create new accounts. A contracted agent can access only the account and shipment information for those users they have enrolled. Contracted agents have no direct access to other information in any Spring Board databases.

A sponsoring trade association has access only to the names and addresses and shipping information of their own members. Associations have no direct access to any other information in Spring Board databases.

Shipping and receiving information for each shipment is submitted electronically to the freight carrier chosen by the shipper. Spring Board does not share a user's personal information with any other third parties for any purposes beyond that required for shipment administration. Carriers have no direct access to any other information in Spring Board databases. Contracted agents and trade associations may pass contact and shipping information on to Carriers.

We also use the e-mail address and shipment information collected above to generate an e-mail to you regarding your quote, regardless of whether you complete the transaction. We use this information to improve the site and to meet your shipping needs.

Except as set forth above, we will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below.

THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBES SOME OF THE WAYS THAT YOUR INFORMATION MAY BE DISCLOSED:

DATA IN THE AGGREGATE:

We may disclose 'blinded' aggregated data and user statistics to prospective partners and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Blinded data is data which does not identify an individual person.

OTHER:

We also may disclose your information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms and Conditions of Use, or may otherwise be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other Spring Board Web site users or customers, or anyone else that may be harmed by such activities. We may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service and improve our products and services.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including packaging, delivering or mailing, answering customer questions about products or services, sending postal mail, providing investor information and processing data. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are contractually prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

As we continue to develop our business, we may buy or sell businesses or assets. In such transactions, confidential customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. In the event of a transaction involving the sale of some or all of our businesses, customer and site visitor information may be one of the transferred assets. In such case, the transferred information may become subject to a different privacy policy.
